Making Shapes

Today we had an awesome time in Maths exploring making different rectilinear shapes with a set number of squares.

Mrs Hurst increased the number of squares we could have each time and we made some really interesting shapes. Some of us even managed to make some letters of the alphabet!

We challenged ourselves and didn't realise that we were learning as Tomasz explained. "This is SO much fun!"

These are some of the photos from our first challenge but we managed to create a lot more interesting shapes with a greater number of squares.
