Connect Us Challenge

 We were set a really interesting challenge by Mrs Hurst in PSHE.



We had to pass the ball around the entire circle without using either our arms or our legs. Needless to say, we were unsure whether it was even going to be possible to begin with. 



But we worked together as a team, learnt how important communication is as well as problem-solving and therefore trying out different suggestions for how we might achieve this. 





We might have dropped the ball a few times, but we just picked it up and carried on, working on our resilience and managing to complete the challenge. Even if it did take a little longer than we had anticipated.

Then we calm back into the classroom and enjoyed some 'Calm Me' time, which was much needed after all the excitement.

  We had a great day today in Cheltenham for the Science Festival. When we arrived we went to Cheltenham Town Hall to watch a show all about 'Sound'.  We then headed to the festival park to immerse ourselves in all the different Science activities taking place.  Here are some of the photos that we took during our tour around the Discovery Zone.

NSPCC Childhood Day

  Yesterday, we completed our mile for the NSPCC Childhood Day. It was rather hot!  This was us at the start. We took our water bottles and walked around the course, that Mr T had set up for us and chatted as we went. We had to complete the course four times to ensure we walked the total distance of one mile.  And that is us at the end of the mile as we were heading back to the classroom.

Coronation Day

  Whilst it was a shame that the picnic was cancelled due to the weather, it did not dampen out spirits and we still managed to have a fantastic day.  We had a great time decorating some biscuits for our Coronation Enterprise Workshop.  And what a super job we did too, as we were the first to sell all of our products. Next time, we will have to make more.  We also had a great, if very messy time, creating crowns. Sorry Tina the cleaner, as our floor was left sparkling like a Strictly garment! We hope that everyone enjoys as the celebrations continue over the weekend and we look forward to hearing all about it next week.
